Commissioned Triptych – A Psychedelic Dream in Purple (36x36)
This piece was a commissioned artwork for a client who wanted something unique for her bedroom—an eye-catching triptych to hang beside her bed. She envisioned a three-panel piece that flowed together seamlessly but could also be displayed with space between each panel if desired. Her only specific request was that it be “trippy and psychedelic,” with purple as the dominant color.
With this creative freedom, I explored fluid, organic forms and bold contrasts to capture a dreamlike, almost hypnotic atmosphere. Layering vibrant purples with swirling textures and intricate details, I worked to create a piece that feels both immersive and dynamic. The result is a visually engaging set that transforms depending on how it’s arranged, allowing for versatility while maintaining its cohesive energy.
This commission challenged me to push my creativity in new ways, embracing movement, balance, and a bold color palette to bring my client’s vision to life.
